Veal Chops With Cheese & Mushroom Sauce
Method:
Season veal chops with salt, pepper and fresh thyme. Heat olive oil in a large heavy
bottom skillet on medium high heat. Place seasoned veal chops into hot pan and cook for 3
minutes per side.
Optional: add walnuts, sherry wine and cook for 1-2 minutes.
When veal is cooked to medium done (slightly pink in center), add mushroom sauce and
crumbled cheese. Heat until sauce comes to a boil, for about 2 minutes.
Heat mashed potatoes and set aside. Place veal chops and mashed potatoes on a warm
serving plate.
Top veal chops and potatoes with remaining sauce from pan. Serve with any vegetable and
garnish with fresh herbs.
