Ingredients:

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs
1 pkg (7 oz) flaked coconut (2 2/3 cups)

Triple Layer Cookie Bars

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In 13*9-inch baking pan, melt margarine in oven.
  2. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over margarine. Top evenly with flaked coconut then with condensed milk. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  3. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with peanut butter. Spread evenly over hot coconut layer. Cool for 30 minutes. Chill thoroughly.
  4. Cut into bars. Garnish as desired. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
    Makes: 24 to 36 bars
    Preparation time: 1 hour
