| Ingredients: 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups cracker crumbs
1 pkg (7 oz) flaked coconut (2 2/3 cups) |
Triple Layer Cookie Bars

Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In 13*9-inch baking pan, melt margarine in oven.
- Sprinkle crumbs evenly over margarine. Top evenly with flaked coconut then with
condensed milk. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
- In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with peanut butter. Spread evenly over
hot coconut layer. Cool for 30 minutes. Chill thoroughly.
- Cut into bars. Garnish as desired. Store loosely covered at room temperature.
Makes: 24 to 36 bars
