Ingredients:

4 16-ounce top round steaks
1 cup cooked rice
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg
3/4 cup canned brown sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp oil

Top Round Steak

Method:
  1. Pound top round steak until very thin.
  2. Make stuffing by mixing rice, parsley, mushrooms, bread crumbs and egg.
  3. Roll stuffing into steaks and secure with toothpicks
  4. Brown rolled steak in heated pan with oil.
  5. Pour brown sauce and water over browned meat and simmer, covered for 45 minutes.
