| Ingredients: 1 whole egg
1 egg white
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 bread slices, cut into 2 stripes each
1 tbsp margarine
Maple syrup for garnishing |
"Skinny" French Toast

Method:
- In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the egg white until it gets creamy.
- To this, add whole egg, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon and beat for few minutes.
- Dip the bread slices in the egg mixture for 1 minute turning once.
- In a large skillet, heat the margarine until it melts. Add bread slices one at a time
and fry on both sides until they are golden brown.
- Garnish with maple syrup on top and serve hot.
