Ingredients:

1 kg beef, boneless and preferably lean meat, without any fat
1/2 kg capsicum, cut into long slices
3 medium sized potatoes, peel & cut into cubes
6 large spicy green chilies
6 large onions, finely chopped
3 spring onions, finely chopped
4 tablespoons of ginger-garlic paste
1 tomato, chopped
2 tbsp Soya sauce
2 tbsp chili sauce

Savoury Chili Beef

Method:
  1. Chop beef into tiny cubes. Sprinkle Soya sauce. Add salt to taste and ginger-garlic paste. Mix well and marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. Boil the potatoes till semi-cooked, fry lightly and keep aside.
  3. After marinating, fry beef cubes on high flame. Keep frying until all the water gets dry. Once the pieces gets dried, cook in pressure cooker with little water for 10 minutes or until cooked.
  4. Fry the onions in a separate bowl till well browned. Add tomato and fry until it gets tender.
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste, chilies to the above mixture and fry well. Later add spring onions, capsicum and fry for few more minutes.
  6. When the meat is cooked and dried without any excess water, add it to the fried mix.
  7. Now add potatoes to the meat mixture and stir well.
  8. Add chili sauce to taste and serve hot.
