| Ingredients: 4 pork loin chops, cut 1 to 1 1/4
inches thick
1 tbsp butter or margarine
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/3 cup catsup
2 tbsp water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp crushed tarragon leaves
1/4 tsp pepper |
Piquant Pork Chops |
Method:
- Brown onion in butter in a saucepan. Add vinegar, wine catsup, water, garlic, salt, dry
mustard, hot pepper sauce, tarragon and pepper; simmer for 8-10 minutes.
- Meanwhile trim excess fat from pork chops. Place chops on grill and broil at moderate
temperature for 10 minutes on each side.
- Brush chops with sauce and continue cooking for 15-20 minutes or until done, turning and
brushing with sauce occasionally. Serve remaining piquant sauce with pork chops
