Ingredients:

16 bread rolls, thawed
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup coarsely crushed peppermint sticks
Icing:
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
4-5 cups powered sugar

Method:
  1. Roll each roll into a 12-inch rope. Twist two ropes together, pinch ends, and place on a large baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Brush with egg and cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Remove wrap and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Combine milk, butter, vanilla, and powered sugar. Beat together well.
  5. While still warm, glaze twists with icing and sprinkle crushed peppermint candy on the top.
    Serves: 6-8
    Preparation time: 20 minutes
