Ingredients:

1 sheet refrigerated pie crust
1 egg
1 tbsp water

Pastry Hearts

Method:
  1. Unfold pie crust on cutting board. Using heart shaped cookie cutter, cut out hearts.
  2. Place the cookies on ungreased baking sheet. Whisk together egg, water and brush on hearts.
  3. Bake at 425 degrees F for 6-8 minutes or until golden.
  4. Transfer to racks to cool and decorate the pie.
