Ingredients:

2 cups chicken or ham, cooked & diced
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup plus 1 tbsp all-purpose biscuit baking mix
1 can (14 1/2 oz) peas & carrots, drained
1 can (14 1/2 oz) potatoes, drained & cubed
1/2 cup milk
1 egg, beaten

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Method:
  1. Mix chicken, soup, 1/4 cup water and 1 tbsp baking mix in bowl and add vegetables. Spoon into 10-inch pie plate or 2-qt baking dish.
  2. Stir remaining baking mix, milk and egg with a fork until just blended and pour evenly over vegetable mixture.
  3. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. For a tasty change, try substituting other vegetables such as mixed vegetables, lima beans, sliced carrots, seasoned green beans or whole kernel white corn.
    Servings: 4-6.
    Preparation time: 30 minutes
