Ingredients:

1 head of romaine lettuce
3 1/2 inch thick slices of French bread, cubed
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp anchovy paste
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Classic Caesar Salad

Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray the baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Sprinkle bread cubes on sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool.
  3. To make the dressing, stir together the lemon juice, olive oil, anchovy paste, garlic and pepper.
  4. Mix the romaine lettuce, cheese and baked bread cubes together in a salad bowl.
  5. Drizzle with dressing and toss well.
    Serves: 4
    Preparation time: 15 minutes
