| Ingredients: 1 3/4 cups unsifted flour
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup cold margarine or butter
1 can (14 oz) creamy chocolate sweetened condensed milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 (1.4 oz) milk chocolate-covered English toffee candy bars, cut into small pieces
1 cup chopped nuts (optional) |

Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (325 degrees for glass dish).
In medium bowl, combine flour and sugar, cut in margarine until crumbly. Press firmly on
bottom of 13 * 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, egg, vanilla and mix well.
Spread evenly over prepared crust.
Top with toffee pieces and nuts, if desired and bake for 20-25 minutes longer or until
bubbly.
Cool and cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator and serve.
Makes 24 to 36 bars.
