Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless chuck beef, cut into �-inch cubes
2 cans (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
2 cups chopped onions
1 can (14.5-oz) beef broth
1 cup beer
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
3 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano leaves
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp salt

Chili Black Bean Beef

Method:
  1. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add beef and brown. Drain.
  2. Add chopped onions to the same pan and saut� for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients except beans. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add beans and simmer for another 5-10 minutes. Garnish with cheddar cheese.
    Serves: 6
    Preparation time: 30-40 minutes
