cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup minced onion
1 egg
1-1/4 cups milk |
Cheese Onion Biscuits

Method:
- Pre-heat oven to 425° F. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese and onion. Beat egg
and milk until well mixed.
- Stir into flour mixture until flour is moistened. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough
one-inch apart onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
Makes about 18 biscuits
