2 tbsp each fresh-squeezed lime, lemon
and orange juice
2 to 3 tbsp sugar
3 to 4 cups mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and halved or quartered
strawberries)
Berries In Sunshine Sauce
Method:
In a medium saucepan combine juices and sugar.
Cook and stir over medium-high heat, until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 to 3 minutes, until
reduced to about 1/2 cup.
Remove from heat and stir in berries to coat completely. Turn into serving dishes and
serve immediately.
Serve the sauced berries as is or use them to top vanilla ice cream, fruit sorbet,
cheesecake or even French toast.
