| Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef
1 jar (16 oz) mild picante sauce, divided
1 can (15 oz) refried beans
1 pkg (20 oz) burrito-size flour tortillas, heated according to pkg directions
2 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup (4 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Sour cream, if desired |
Beef & Bean Burritos

Method:
- In a large skillet over high heat, cook ground beef, stirring constantly, until browned,
drain.
- Stir in 1/2 jar (about 1 cup) and refried beans; heat through.
- Spoon about 1/2 cup filling into center of each tortilla; top each with 1/4 cup lettuce
and 2 tbsp cheese.
- Fold bottom third of tortilla up over filling; fold right and left sides over folded
end, overlapping. Fold remaining end down to enclose filling, creating a
"packet".
- Serve immediately with remaining refried beans and sour cream, if desired.
