Ingredients:

2 lbs. red tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 green chili, chopped
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 pinches sugar
2 tbsps oil
Salt to taste

Mexican Tomato Sauce

 

Method:
  1. Put the tomatoes in hot water for 10 minutes. Take out the skin and chop them.
  2. Heat the oil and fry the onion for 1/2 minute. Add the green chili and fry again for a few seconds.
  3. Add the tomatoes, chili powder, oregano, sugar and salt. Remove from fire and use as required.
    Preparation time: 15 minutes
