Ingredients:

1/3 cup fresh rosemary leaves
2 tbsps fresh thyme leaves
2 tbsps fresh parsley
1 tbsp. fresh sage leaves
1/3 cup thinly sliced garlic cloves
Zest of 1 lemon
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cracked black pepper

Holiday Herb Rub

Method:
  1. Place all ingredients in the work bowl of a food processor.
  2. Process all ingredients until zest and garlic are finely chopped and all ingredients are blended well. Refrigerate until ready to use. Great on poultry or pork.
  3. Herb rubs for meat and poultry ensure full flavor and juiciness. This zesty blend is perfect for your holiday turkey and for everyday chicken and pork dishes, too.
  4. For use on holiday turkey: Rub under skin of 10-12 lb. turkey prior to baking. If desired, brush exterior of turkey with olive oil for added flavor and color.
