Ingredients:

250 gms mushrooms
2-3 tbsp cream
2 tbsp poppy seeds
2 tbsp cashews
2 onions, finely chopped
1 tsp garam masala
4 green chilies, chopped
1 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
3-4 tbsp oil

Method:
  1. Boil the mushrooms in salt water for few minutes.
  2. Mix poppy seeds, cashews and grind to a smooth paste. Keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onions until brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric, chopped green chilies, cashews-poppy seeds paste, salt and stir well. Fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add boiled mushrooms. When the pieces are tender, add garam masala and cream. Mix well, cook for few more minutes and remove.
  5. Serve hot with any pulao or chapathies.
    Serves: 4-6
    Preparation time: 20 minutes
