Ingredients:

500g maida (all-purpose flour)
100g ghee or butter
Salt to taste
350g sugar
2 coconuts, grated
100g khus khus seeds
150g putnaalu (roasted bengal gram)
5g cardamoms
Oil for frying

Method:
  1. Mix the flour with salt, ghee and make smooth dough.
  2. In a pan, fry grated coconut, putnaala powder, khus khus seeds, sugar, cardamom powder for few minutes and keep aside.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into puri size.
  4. Place the above fried mixture in one half of puri and close the remaining half above. Close the edges by using water.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, fry them until golden color. Drain and let them cool.
