kg jaggery
1/2 kg maida (all-purpose flour)
6 cardamoms (elaichi)
150 grams ghee
50 grams dalda
2 1/2 coconuts, grated |

Method:
- Add the maida, dalda (melted) and mix well. Mix well like puri dough.
- Add the jaggery to the grated coconut and blend in a mixer. To this, add the powdered
elachi.
- Add little ghee to the tava and heat. Add the coconut and jaggery mix and fry till its
thick. Always fry in low flame. Cool down and make them into small balls.
- Take little maida dough and keep the coconut balls in the middle and roll into a ball.
In a plastic paper apply oil keep the ball. And roll it round with your hand. It is so
soft that you dont need a rolling pin.
- Repeat the process for the remaining balls too.
- Heat the tava, place polis, add ghee and fry on both sides. Serve hot or cold.
