Ingredients:For the sev-marmara:
1 cup marmara (puffed rice)
1/2 cup sev
1/2 tsp. cumin seeds (jeera)
A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
1/4 tsp. turmeric powder (haldi)
1/4 tsp. black salt (sanchal)
1/2 tsp. oil
Other ingredients:
4 tbsps peanuts, boiled
4 tbsps moong sprouts
4 tbsps chopped tomato
4 tbsps chopped apple
2 tbsps chopped raw mango
4 tbsps fresh pomegranate seeds
1/2 cup orange segments
4 tbsps chopped coriander
4 tsps lemon juice
Salt to taste |

Method:
- For the sev-mamara, heat the oil and add the cumin seeds. When they crackle, add the
asafoetida, turmeric powder, mamara and mix well.
- Add the black salt and sev, mix well and cool completely. Store in an air-tight
container and use as required.
- To serve, mix all the ingredients together and serve immediately.
