Ingredients:

1 cup rice
1 cup shelled peas
1 big onion, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup oil
2 green chilies
2 cups of water
4 slices of bread
2 tbsp butter

Rice Sandwiches

Method:
  1. Boil the rice with peas. When it is ready take it off from heat and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chopped onion until golden brown. Add green chilies, salt and rice. Mix well.
  3. Butter the slices of bread.
  4. Spread rice on 2 slices and cover with the other 2 to make 2 sandwiches.
  5. Toast in an electric toaster and serve hot.
  6. You can also use leftover rice to make these sandwiches.
