| Ingredients: 10 betal leaves (pan ke patte)
150g gram flour
Salt to taste
A pinch of baking soda
1/4 tsp ajwain seeds (oregano)
1/2 tsp chili powder
A pinch of turmeric
Oil for frying |
Betal Leaves Bhajji

Method:
Sieve the flour and add salt, baking soda, ajwain seeds, chili powder and turmeric to
the flour. Add little water and prepare a fine bhajji batter.
Remove the stem from the betal leaves and cut into two pieces.
Immerse the betal leaves in the batter and fry in hot oil until golden brown in color
and crispy.
Repeat for the remaining leaves and serve hot with coffee or tea.
