Ingredients:

1 apple, peeled, boiled & mashed
2 cups maida (all-purpose) flour
Salt to taste
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 egg
Oil for frying

Method:
  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg well. To this add flour, mashed apple, salt, chili powder, cumin seeds and make a fine batter using water.
  2. Warm the oil for deep frying over medium high heat.
  3. Using your hands, shape into balls from the apple mixture and drop them gently into the oil.
  4. Fry them until golden brown in color. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve hot with chili sauce.
