Ingredients:1
cup assorted lettuce, shredded (iceberg, curly, red lettuce etc.)
1/2 cup papaya, diced
1/2 cup grapes, halved
1/2 cup orange segments
1/2 cup guava, sliced
1/2 cup strawberries, quartered
1/2 cup watermelon, diced
1 tbsp. sliced almonds, toasted
For the dressing:
2 tbsps vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tbsp. red chili flakes (paprika)
1 tbsp. salt |
Fruit & Lettuce Salad

Method:
- Combine the fruits and lettuce in a large bowl and chill.
- For the dressing, combine the vinegar, sugar and water to boil to make a thick syrup.
Cool slightly and add the red chili flakes, salt and mix well.
- Cool completely and store in a sterilised air-tight bottle. Just before serving, pour
some of the dressing over the salad and toss.
