Ingredients:

250g rice
100g green gram (moong dal)
10g pepper corns
1 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste

Method:
  1. Wash the rice and green gram well and soak in water for 10 minutes.
  2. In a rice cooker, add rice, greem gram, turmeric, pepper corns, salt, 1/2 litre water and cook until the rice is done.
  3. Serve hot with rasam.
