| Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups rice
1/4 cup ghee or butter
1 onion, chopped
4-5 garlic flakes, chopped finely
2-3 cardamoms
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup grated fresh coconut |

Method:
Heat ghee in a pan, fry the onions, garlic till golden brown.
Add cardamoms and washed rice and fry for 5 minutes.
Add salt, turmeric and enough water to cook.
When rice is almost cooked, add lemon juice and grated coconut. Cover and cook till
done.
Serve with any gravy curry.
