| Ingredients: 500g basmati rice
200g garbanzos
75g onions, chopped
4 green chilies, chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
5g garam masala
3 cups yogurt
100g tomatoes, chopped
50g ghee or butter
1 bunch mint leaves
1 bunch coriander leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste |

Method:
- Wash the basmathi rice and soak it in the water
- Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
- Soon after add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, green chilies, garam masala, garbanzos,
tomatoes, yogurt, mint and coriander leaves; and let them get boiled for 5 minutes.
- Let the rice get 3/4 cooked with enough salt. Add and mix the above mixture to the rice.
- Cook the rice with mixture on the low flame until done.
- Serve when it is hot.
