Ingredients:

500g basmati rice
200g garbanzos
75g onions, chopped
4 green chilies, chopped
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
5g garam masala
3 cups yogurt
100g tomatoes, chopped
50g ghee or butter
1 bunch mint leaves
1 bunch coriander leaves
1/2 tsp turmeric
Salt to taste

Method:
  1. Wash the basmathi rice and soak it in the water
  2. Heat the ghee in a pan and fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. Soon after add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, green chilies, garam masala, garbanzos, tomatoes, yogurt, mint and coriander leaves; and let them get boiled for 5 minutes.
  4. Let the rice get 3/4 cooked with enough salt. Add and mix the above mixture to the rice.
  5. Cook the rice with mixture on the low flame until done.
  6. Serve when it is hot.
