Ingredients:

1 cup dried prawns
10 garlic flakes
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup red chilies
Salt to taste

Method:
  1. Dry the prawns well, so that head and tail portions can be removed easily.
  2. In a dry pan, roast the prawns until brown. Remove and keep aside.
  3. Roast the red chilies and blend with prawns.
  4. In the middle, add cumin seeds, salt and blend for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Also add garlic flakes and blend for another 1 minute or so.
  6. Transfer to an air tight jar.
