Ingredients:

50g red chilies
50g coriander seeds
1 tbsp cumin seeds
Little tamarind
Salt to taste
4 garlic flakes
1 tbsp oil

Nalla Karam

Method:
  1. Heat oil in a pan, fry the red chilies for a minute. Remove and keep aside.
  2. In the remaining oil, fry coriander seeds, cumin seeds and blend with red chilies until smooth.
  3. Add salt, tamarind, garlic and blend to a smooth powder.
  4. This powder can be used in curries.
