Ingredients:

1 lb shrimps
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 kg Breadfruit
Oil as needed
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp chili powder
Salt to taste
For tempering:
2 onions
6 curry leaves
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 cm ginger piece
1 small onion chopped
4 garlic flakes

Shrimp & Breadfruit Curry

Method:
  1. Mix chili powder, chopped onions, ginger, garlic, coconut, turmeric with vinegar in a blender to make a fine paste and set aside.
  2. Clean the shrimps and breadfruit and cut breadfruit into small pieces.
  3. Boil breadfruit in water with salt in it.
  4. Cook shelled shrimps in ground masala paste, salt, water and cook till shrimps are tender.
  5. To this add the cooked breadfruit. Cook both together after blending them.
  6. Heat 3 tbsp of oil and fry mustard seeds, curry leaves, one chopped onion and pour this mixture over the curry.
  7. Serve hot.
