| Ingredients: 1 lb prawns
200g onions
200g garlic
30g ginger
1 tsp turmeric
1 cup coconut milk
1 tsp chili powder
2 bay leaves
6 cloves
10 cardamoms
2 cups of yogurt in 1 cup of water
1 cm cinnamon stick
Oil or Ghee (or butter) for cooking |

Method:
Make a paste of onions, ginger, garlic, turmeric and chili powder in a blender with
little water
Blend cinnamon, cloves, and cardamoms without any water. (dry masala)
Apply salt and turmeric to the prawns and keep aside.
Heat oil or ghee or a mixture of both. Add bay leaves, prawns and fry for a minute.
Now mix yogurt with ground paste. Stir fry the prawns with this mixture till oil
separates.
Add coconut milk and salt. Cook till a thick gravy forms.
Remove from heat and garnish with dry ground masala.
