| Ingredients: 2 lbs lamb or beef cubes
1/2 cup oil
2 onions, sliced
2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
5 garlic flakes, minced
3 bay leaves
2 tsp ground coriander seeds
1 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 cup well stirred yogurt
1/2 cup blanched almonds
1/4 cup heavy cream
A pinch of saffron soaked in water
Salt to taste |
Gosht Shahi Korma

Method:
Heat oil in a saucepan, fry onions, ginger, garlic, bay leaves till they are golden.
Add meat along with coriander, cayenne pepper, cardamom garam masala, salt and fry for a
few minutes.
Add the yogurt, reduce the heat to low, cover and cook until the meat is tender. This
takes about 30 minutes.
Later, add the almonds, cream, saffron with water and cook for another 5 minutes.
