Ingredients:6
bread slices or cut into cubes
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsps (1/2 stick) butter
3 beaten eggs
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 tsp. vanilla essence
1/4 cup raisins
A pinch of cinnamon powder
20 cashewnuts (broken into pieces) |
Tasty Bread Pudding

Method:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Add eggs, cream, cinnamon, vanilla
essence, raisins, cashew nuts and mix well.
- Pour into a square pan. Mix the bread cubes into the liquid and let them soak the liquid
for 5 minute.
- Set pan in a larger pan filled with water to 1/2 inch from top. Cover with aluminum
foil. Bake for 40 minutes. Uncover the pan and bake for another 10 minutes to brown the
top.
- The bread can be left as slices instead of cubing them.
- Tip: This tastes better when it is warm. If it gets cold, slightly warm it in the
microwave and serve.
