Ingredients:

150 gms maida (all-purpose flour)
100 gms buttermilk
150 gms sugar
75 gms butter
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla essence
60 ml soda water

Eggless Buttermilk Cake

Method:
  1. Sieve together the maida and baking powder. Keep aside
  2. Mix sugar, buttermilk and stir well until the sugar melts in buttermilk.
  3. To the buttermilk mixture, add maida, soda water and mix well.
  4. At last add vanilla essence, mix well and pour in a greased cake pan.
  5. Bake at 160 degrees C for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves: 6-8
    Preparation time: 30-40 minutes
