Ingredients:

2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cup water
For Chocolate Frosting:
1 cup of milk
3 cups powdered white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp cocoa powder
Mix all the ingredients with 1 tbsp of milk at a time until mixture is smooth and of spreading consistency

Butter Pecan Cake

Method:
  1. In a bowl, mix all ingredients with a hand blender for 30 seconds at medium speed.
  2. Then mix this for 2 minutes at high speed.
  3. Transfer the mixture into preheated oven at 350 degrees F on a greased and floured baking pan. Bake for about 30-40 minutes.
  4. Decorate with chocolate frosting.
