Ingredients:

2 cups grated coconut
2 tbsp ghee or butter
200g chana dal
200g khoya
500g sugar
2 cups of water
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
5-6 cashew nuts
2-3 ripe bananas
5-6 kiss miss (raisins)

Banana Coconut Paak

Method:
  1. Soak the dal in water overnight, boil and grind to a fine paste.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan and slightly fry the khoya.
  3. Now make a syrup with the water and sugar. Add the grated coconut, dal paste, khoya, cardamom powder to the syrup and let it boil a little.
  4. When the mixture becomes thick, add the ghee. Let the mixture cool.
  5. Take the bananas, peel and cut into 1/2 inch slices.
  6. Make lemon sized balls of the coconut mixture keeping a banana slice in each.
  7. Decorate with cashews and kiss miss.
  8. Do not keep the paaks for more than 24 hours.
