Ingredients:

2 cups wheat flour
1 tbsp ghee or butter
Salt to taste
1 tbsp milk
2 tbsp sooji
Water to knead dough
Oil to deep fry

Puffy Puris

Method:
  1. Mix all the ingredients and make a firm dough.
  2. Make small balls from the dough, roll into 3-4" diameter and fry in oil on both sides until puffy and golden brown in color.
  3. Drain with strainer and serve hot with either spicy vegetable curries or curds.
    Serves: 4
    Preparation time: 20 minutes
