Ingredients:

2 cups poha (beaten rice)
1 potato, boiled, peeled & chopped into cubes
1/2 cup onion, chopped finely
2 green chilies, chopped finely
2 dry red chilies, broken into pieces
Salt to taste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp coriander leaves for garnishing
For seasoning:
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp channa dal
1 tsp curry leaves
1 tbsp oil

Poha Upma

Method:
  1. Wash the poha and soak in 1/2 cup of water for about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. In a pan heat the oil. Add all the seasoning ingredients and fry for 3 minutes. Then add the chopped onions, green chilies, red chilies and saut� until golden brown.
  3. Then add the boiled potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Finally, add the soaked poha and mix well. Keep on low heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot garnished with coriander leaves
    Serves: 2
    Preparation time: 15 minutes
