Ingredients:

2 medium size tomatoes
4-5 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tbsp of coriander leaves, finely chopped
1/2 cup sour yogurt, beaten (beat without mixing water)
A pinch of turmeric
For seasoning:
1/4 tbsp mustard seeds
1/4 tbsp cumin seeds
2 pinches of hing
Oil for frying

Yogurt Tomato Chutney

Method:
  1. Peel and boil tomatoes with turmeric and salt in little water until they are totally cooked.
  2. Add green chilies and coriander leaves and let it cool. Add the beaten yogurt to the tomatoes.
  3. Heat little oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing, fry till mustard seeds splatter and add this seasoning to the above mixture.
  4. You can serve this with rice or as a raitha with roties.
    Preparation time: 10 minutes
