| Ingredients: 2 medium size tomatoes
4-5 green chilies, finely chopped
2 tbsp of coriander leaves, finely chopped
1/2 cup sour yogurt, beaten (beat without mixing water)
A pinch of turmeric
For seasoning:
1/4 tbsp mustard seeds
1/4 tbsp cumin seeds
2 pinches of hing
Oil for frying |
Yogurt Tomato Chutney |
Method:
- Peel and boil tomatoes with turmeric and salt in little water until they are totally
cooked.
- Add green chilies and coriander leaves and let it cool. Add the beaten yogurt to the
tomatoes.
- Heat little oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and hing, fry till mustard
seeds splatter and add this seasoning to the above mixture.
- You can serve this with rice or as a raitha with roties.
