Ingredients:

6 large tomatoes - cut into small pieces
3 green chilies - cut into small pieces
Coriander leaves
Curry leaves
Mustard - 1/4 a teaspoon
Urad dhal - 1/4 a teaspoon
2 tablespoons of cooking oil
Salt to taste
Asafoteida to taste (heeng)
250 gms of curd (yogurt)

Tomato Raita

Method:
  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add mustard, urad dhal, green chilies, coriander and curry leaves. Allow mustard to spatter.
  2. Add the chopped tomatoes. Fry till tomatoes are cooked - keeping stirring so that it does not stick to the pan.
  3. Beat the curd with a cup of water and salt to taste. Add the fried tomatoes into the beaten curd.
  4. Add salt and heeng to taste.
  5. Serve hot/cold with any south indian or north indian rice dish
    Serves: 4
