| Ingredients: Onions
(medium): 2 nos
Green chilies: 8 (according to ur taste. u can add more chilies if u want it to be spicy)
Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbsp.
Pundina (mint leaves): 1 small bunch
Tomatoes (medium): 3 nos
Curd: 2 tbsp.
Chili powder: 1 tsp. (according to ur taste)
Garam masala: 1 tsp.
Raw long grain rice: 1 cup
Water: 1 cup
Coconut milk: 1 cup
Salt to taste
Oil: 2 tbsp. |

Method:
- Take oil in a large pan. Add onions and green chilies and fry till the onions become
light brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for some more time. Add chopped pudina and fry for some
more time.
- Add finely chopped tomatoes and fry till the tomatoes are fully cooked. Add curd and
leave it some more time.
- Add chili powder, garam masala powder and mix it. When oil starts floating add water,
coconut milk and rice.
- Add salt and mix it. Close the pan. Leave it till the rice is fully cooked. (keep
stirring the rice once in 5 mins so that the rice doesnt stick to the pan.)
- Garnish it with coriander leaves. Note: U can even garnish the tomato bath with fried
cashew nuts.
- Serve hot with raita.
