| Ingredients: 200 gms button
mushrooms
200 gms paneer, grated
2 tbsp. finely chopped coriander
1 tbsp. finely chopped green chilies (optional)
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 level tsp. any good garam masala |

Method:
- Soak mushrooms in water for 2-3 hrs if there is time. Clean them well.
- Carefully remove the stems and make the cavity in the cap a little larger with a sharp
knife. Finely chop the mushroom stems.
- Lightly sauté chopped stems and remove from fire. Add the onions, green chilies,
coriander leaves, pepper, garam masala and grated onion.
- Rub some olive oil or other cooking oil into the mushroom caps and fill with the
stuffing.
- Bake in a preheated oven of 180 degrees C for 10 to 15 minutes. The alternate to baking
is to lightly fry the stuffed mushrooms in a sauce pan.
- Serve with mint chutney or as it is. Makes a very good starter.
