Ingredients: 250g
fresh bean-sprouts
2 to3 spring onions (scallions)
2 to 3 carrots (cut in match sticks form)
1 medium red chili pepper (optional)
3 tbsp oil
2 packets noodles
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp of butter
1 tbsp light soy sauce
Few drops of sesame oil (optional) |
Stir-Fry Bean Sprouts With Noodles |
Method:
- Rinse bean sprouts in cold water, drain well on paper towels.
- Cut spring onions (scallions) in short sections. Thinly shred red pepper, if using,
discarding the seeds.
- Boil noodles in hot water as directed on packet and drain the water from noodles when
they are prepared. Add 1 tsp of butter in noodles.
- Heat the oil in preheated wok. Add bean sprouts, spring onions, carrots and chili
pepper, if using and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add salt, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil, if
using to the mixture in wok. Stir well to blend.
- Add all ingredients in noodles and serve immediately hot.
