| Ingredients: 1 bunch spinach
2 red chilies
2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 coconut
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 cup toor daal
1 tsp rice flour
Salt to taste
For garnishing:
2 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad daal |

Method:
Pressure cook toor daal. Clean spinach thoroughly and cook it in a vessel by adding some
water (very little water is enough to cook spinach) along with salt and turmeric powder.
Grind the spinach in a blender and keep aside.
Grind grated coconut, red chilies, cumin seeds and add them to the spinach.
Add the cooked toor daal to these along with rice flour and cook for about 7 minutes
Garnish with coconut oil, mustard seeds and urud daal. Serve with rice and fried
potatoes.
