Ingredients:
Ridge gourd (turayi)-1 big
Tomato-1
Green chilies-3
Coriander-as desired
Curry leaves-10
Dry red chilies-2
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Chana dal-1 tsp
Hing-pinch
Salt to taste

Ridge Gourd Chutney

Method:
  1. Cut the ridge gourd to small pieces without skin.
  2. Take oil in a pan, to this add cut ridge gourd, tomatoes, green chilies, coriander, salt and cook for ten minutes. Grind the mixture when it is cool.
  3. To a separate pan add oil, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, red chilies, curry leaves, urad dal, chana dal, hing, coriander leaves and let it splutter. Pour this on turiya mix.
  4. Serve as a side dish for rice, chapatis, rotis etc.
    Preparation time: 15 minutes
