Ingredients:

1 pack ricotta cheese
Sufficient sugar
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
A few strands of kesar (saffron) milk

Rasmalai

Method:
  1. Hang Ricotta cheese in a cloth for an hour. Mix sugar (to your taste) in it.
  2. Spread it in a layer in a baking tray so that the layer is not thicker than1".
  3. Bake the cheese in a preheated oven at 300F on the middle level rack till a toothpick inserted comes out clean. It will take 35-40 mins.
  4. Meanwhile, thicken some milk, add sugar, cardamom powder and kesar.
  5. Cut the baked cheese in desired shapes and put them in the hot, thickened milk.
  6. Cool this delicious rasmalai in the refrigerator. Serve as a dessert after any good meal!
