Ingredients:

2 green plaintains
2 cups fresh curd
3 green chilies
2 red chilies
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tbsp ghee
Curry leaves
Salt to taste

Plaintain Raita

Method:
  1. Pressure cook the plaintains and peel the skin and mash it nicely.
  2. Take curd in a bowl, add the mashed plaintain mixture to the curd along with salt, turmeric and keep it aside.
  3. Take small kadai, put ghee in that, when heated add red chilies, mustard seeds, jeera, slited green chilies and curry leaves.
  4. When mustard seeds starts crackling sound, pour this mixture over curd mixture and mix it well.
  5. Serve with hot white rice and any pickle.
    Serves: 4
