Ingredients:

Plain flour - 300gms
Sugar powdered - 200gms
Clarified butter (Ghee) - 200gms
Ammonia - 1 pinch (ammonia is a pungent smelling wet salt like chemical. You can get it from any confectioner)
Green cardamom (powdered) - 3-4

My Never Fail Cookies

Method:
  1. Take the entire quantity of ghee in a pan, Beat it very well till creamy white and fluffy.
  2. Add powdered sugar , pinch of ammonia and the cardamom powder and again beat, till the mixture becomes light & fluffy in consistency.
  3. Add plain flour in small amounts and mix well. The dough should be then smoothened. Make balls , flatten them slightly.
  4. Grease the baking tray and place the balls in it. Bake the cookies in moderately hot oven (approx 180 degrees) for 10 mins. The cookies will slightly crack when done. Serve with Tea or Coffee
    Variation:- You can also replace plain flour with the gram flour(besan). Instead of taking 300gms of plain flour, take 200gms of plain flour and 100gms of gram flour.
