| Ingredients: 100gms rice
2 liters milk
500 gms sugar
1/2 tsp kesar (saffron), dissolved in 2 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp ghee or butter
Whole garam masala
1/4 tsp saffron color
2 tbsp almonds (for garnishing) |

Method:
Soak rice in water for 2 hours.
Heat oil in a heavy bottom vessel & add ghee. Now add whole garam masala.
To this add the soaked rice & fry for 2 minutes. Pre heat the milk in a seperate
pan. Now add this milk to the rice & cook until very soft.
Now add the kesar, saffron color, sugar & cook for 5 more minutes.
Garnish with chopped almonds. Serve warm.
